Plenary Keynote Speakers
World-renowned academic pioneers delivering plenary lectures during IC3RS 2027 2027.
Prof. H. Vincent Poor
Michael Henry Strater University Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering
Princeton University, USA
"Information Theory Meets Edge AI: The Next Frontier in Ubiquitous Wireless Networks"
"As we enter the era of 6G, the convergence of statistical inference, real-time edge computing, and semantic communications poses profound theoretical and practical challenges. This keynote surveys recent advances at the intersection of information theory and distributed machine learning. We examine fundamental rate-distortion-perception bounds, decentralized federated optimization across imperfect wireless channels, and the role of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) in orchestrating autonomous multi-agent cyber-physical spaces."
H. Vincent Poor is the Michael Henry Strater University Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Princeton University. His research interests include information theory, machine learning, and wireless networks. An IEEE Fellow and member of the US National Academy of Engineering and National Academy of Sciences, he has authored more than 2,000 publications and received the IEEE Alexander Graham Bell Medal and the IEEE Medal of Honor.
Prof. Andrea Goldsmith
Dean of Engineering and Applied Science & Arthur LeGrand Doty Professor
Princeton University, USA
"Breaking the Boundaries of Wireless: From Terahertz Channels to Non-Terrestrial Megaconstellations"
"The exponential growth of autonomous robotic systems, smart cities, and planetary sensor meshes demands ultra-high throughput and deterministic low-latency connectivity far beyond current 5G cellular topologies. This address discusses breakthrough physical layer innovations, mmWave and sub-THz propagation characteristics, and algorithmic strategies for joint communication and radar sensing (JCAS) across hybrid satellite-aerial-terrestrial infrastructures."
Andrea Goldsmith is the Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Science and the Arthur LeGrand Doty Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Princeton University. She was previously the Stephen Harris Professor of Engineering at Stanford University. She is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and received the prestigious Marconi Prize.
Dr. Samarjit Sengupta
Distinguished Scientist & Former Director of Radar Systems
Integrated Test Range (ITR), DRDO & IEEE Aerospace Society
"Precision Range Instrumentation and Next-Gen Phased Array Tracking in Harsh Environments"
"Flight testing and telemetry acquisition for hypersonic flight vehicles and space launch missions present extreme thermal, optical, and electromagnetic interference constraints. This lecture explores modern phased array radar architectures, monopulse tracking techniques, high-speed multi-station optical tracking telescopes, and sensor fusion algorithms designed to maintain sub-centimeter real-time trajectory estimation."
Dr. Samarjit Sengupta is a Distinguished Aerospace Scientist with over 32 years of leadership in test range telemetry, radar telemetry, and real-time mission safety instrumentation. He has served as Chief Mission Director for over 70 national defense flight trials and published extensively in IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems.
